Naomi Osaka is back! The surprises keep coming at Wimbledon
The upsets continue in the women’s singles at Wimbledon. Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka, who is trying to recapture her former glory, knocked out world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in two sets. Defending champion Iga Swiatek was also eliminated yesterday.
At Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam tennis tournament of the season, Aryna Sabalenka was eliminated in the women’s singles, while Novak Djokovic advanced to the quarterfinals. The tournament, held in London, the capital of England, continued with fourth-round matches.

A FIRST AT WIMBLEDON
In the women’s singles, top-seeded Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka was eliminated from the tournament after losing to Japanese player Naomi Osaka in sets of 6-2 and 7-6.
Naomi Osaka, who has four Grand Slam titles to her name, advanced to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon for the first time with this result.
