Kenan Yildiz confesses to the National Team

In an interview with 'History of the Month', national footballer Kenan Yıldız talked about many topics from his childhood years to his professional career, from his goals for the national team and his future to his life off the field. Describing himself as a calm and normal person who is quite hyperactive and cheerful around his friends, Yıldız summarized his priorities in life as "My family, my religion and football". Talking about his life off the pitch, Yıldız stated that he is involved in different sports branches in his spare time, he enjoys playing padel tennis and golf and spending time with his friends.

Explaining that his passion for football started at a very young age when he played ball in front of their house in Germany, Kenan Yıldız emphasized that the support of his family played a decisive role in his career journey. Saying that his father trains with him every day and that his family makes great sacrifices to take him to tournaments and trainings, the national footballer thanked his family saying, "I would not be here without them."

'I WANT TO DO EVERYTHING I CAN FOR TURKEY'

The national athlete, who has earned a special place in the hearts with every match he has played in the national jersey and strengthened the hopes for the future of Turkish football with the success he has achieved with the Turkish National Football Team, also expressed his pride in the national jersey. Stating that competing under the national jersey has a very special meaning for him, Kenan Yıldız emphasized that he chose Turkey purely out of a sense of belonging and his love for his country. "I love Turkey and I want to do everything I can for Turkey. Turkey is my country," said the national player, expressing his loyalty to the national jersey.

Yıldız, who also evaluated the UEFA Euro 2024 process with the Turkish National Football Team, stated that the most memorable match in the tournament was the match against Austria. Stating that the fighting spirit they showed as a team gave great hope for the future of Turkish football, the national footballer said that he believes that Turkey will be able to achieve significant success with its young and dynamic squad in the FIFA World Cup, which Turkey participated in after 24 years.

Kenan Yıldız gave advice to young people in the interview and emphasized the importance of staying positive despite the difficulties encountered on the road to success.
