Joao Pedro, Premier League Player of the Month

The winner of the traditional Premier League Player of the Month award for August has been announced.

Chelsea announced on its official website that Brazilian striker Joao Pedro has won the Player of the Month award in England.

The club’s statement emphasized that this was Pedro’s first time winning the award in his career, noting that he is the first Chelsea player to win it in exactly two years, following Cole Palmer.

The 24-year-old Brazilian center forward contributed two goals and two assists in the two matches he played in August.
