World No. 1 Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner claimed his fifth Grand Slam title by winning Wimbledon 2026. Sinner, 24, who also won Wimbledon last year, defeated Alexander Zverev in the final.

In the men’s singles final of the tournament held in London, the capital of England, world No. 1 Jannik Sinner faced off against world No. 3 Alexander Zverev.
After losing the first set, Sinner defeated his opponent Zverev 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, and 6-4 in a match that lasted 3 hours and 46 minutes, claiming his second consecutive Wimbledon title.
The Italian athlete, who had previously won the Australian Open twice and the U.S. Open once, thus claimed his fifth Grand Slam title.
