Inter have found their new right back! 42 million euros for Palestra!

Dutch right-back Denzel Dumfries will be transferred to Real Madrid after Inter won the Italian championship, using his €20 million release clause. The Milan team immediately started working to replace Dumfries.

According to reports in the Italian press; Inter offered €42 million for Atalanta's Marco Palestra, but Atalanta rejected the offer. It is claimed that Atalanta want at least 50 million Euros for Palestra and Inter are expected to raise their offer. Inter also want to use young player Matteo Cocchi in an exchange to reduce the cost.

The 21-year-old, who spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Cagliari and is currently on loan at Atalanta, said at the Italy national team camp that he is ready to make the leap to a big club.
