Ghana national team coach Addo sacked

"The GFA has parted ways with Otto Addo, Technical Director of the National Football Team, with immediate effect," the Ghana Football Association (GFA) said in a statement. The Federation will announce the new coach as soon as possible."

Addo's departure follows a 2-1 defeat by Germany in a friendly yesterday and a 5-1 loss to Austria last Friday.

The World Cup will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.

Ghana will face England, Panama and Croatia in Group L.
