According to a statement from the club, the 208-centimeter-tall basketball player has played for NBA teams including the San Antonio Spurs, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, and Detroit Pistons during his career. Metu, who has also played for Barcelona and Gran Canaria in Europe, will be giving his all for Galatasaray MCT Technic’s success in the new season.
The 28-year-old player, who has experience in both the NBA and the EuroLeague, is known for his strong physique, athleticism, rebounding ability, and effectiveness in the paint.
The Yellow-and-Red club announced the signing through official channels, confirming that Chimezie Metu will be part of the Galatasaray MCT Technic roster for the upcoming season.
