Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk: 'I don't find the rule right'

Galatasaray lost 1-0 to Kasımpaşa in the 34th and last week of the Trendyol Super League, coach Okan Buruk made statements after the match.

"CLUBS ARE NOT READY FOR THIS"

Stating that they did everything to win, Okan Buruk said, "We had a very long match schedule. 12 Champions League, 5 Turkish Cup, 34 Super League matches, 2 Super Cup matches. It was important for us to go into the last week as champions. We didn't include players who had played a very long schedule, I told Torreira before the game, Osimhen had a suspension. We were on the pitch with a good squad. We did our best to win. In the first half a ball came in and a goal was scored. The concentration was good, we looked for the equalizer but it didn't happen. The fact that our opponent was in the relegation line and they were resilient prevented the draw goal."

Okan Buruk complained about the transfer window and continued with the following words:

"We saw the last 16 in Europe. We want to improve this. The league is over but the transfer period is starting. We have preparations there. The number of foreigners that will confuse everyone is not clearly announced. It was said 10+4 but many clubs are not ready for it. There are players with contracts. These are things that will be difficult for teams like us who are in the Champions League. You want young players but you need to buy young players who are ready to play. I think the new rule will also make it difficult financially. You can try as an investment, but for a team like us that will play in the Champions League, this rule will force us. This rule will force us to achieve those goals."
