Foreign VAR statement from TFF: All clubs complained, decision made

While the debate on foreign VAR referees continues in the Super League, a statement came from the Turkish Football Federation.

Stating that foreign VAR is not on their agenda, the TFF official said, "We are transparent. We said come and watch the VAR, but no such request has been received from any club yet."

"Foreign VAR is not on our agenda. No federation sends their quality referees in the last weeks. How can we punish the foreign VAR when he makes a mistake? At most, we won't call him again, but he will stir things up. What won't those who say that our trainers can establish relations with the outside world say then? Club managers please support us. We have a very hardworking, reliable and educative MHK president. We are transparent. We said come and watch the VAR, but no such request has been received from any club yet. We are waiting for this from one club in particular. Let them come and take a look. We are also financially open. Let any club come and examine whether TFF has given an advance to a club or not. 197 referees were dismissed in a betting investigation. There are some who played once, but there is no question of them being pardoned. Why did we put this rule in place if it is to be taken back?"
