Fabio Grosso, one of Italy's unforgettable left-backs, is the new coach of Fiorentina. The 48-year-old coach, who made a name for himself at Sassuolo, has signed for the Purple Violets.
Fabio Grosso has been appointed as the technical director of Italian team Fiorentina after Paolo Vanoli. In the club's statement, the 48-year-old Italian coach Grosso signed a contract until June 30, 2028.

BREAKTHROUGH AT SASSUOLO
Grosso, who previously coached teams such as Brescia, Sion, Frosinone and Olympic Lyon, last worked at Sassuolo. Last season, Fiorentina finished 15th in Serie A with 42 points and reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Conference League.
