Gençlerbirliği has stepped up its efforts to sign a goalkeeper ahead of the new season. It has been reported that the Ankara-based club has added Fenerbahçe players İrfan Can Eğribayat and Tarık Çetin to its transfer list.

REJECTED AN OFFER FROM ABROAD

It is known that there has been interest in Irfan Can Eğribayat from abroad as well. It has been reported that Polish club Cracovia and Dutch side Groningen previously made offers for the experienced goalkeeper, but these attempts were unsuccessful. While it is noted that Fenerbahçe’s management did not accept these offers, a decision regarding the player’s future is expected to be finalized shortly.

It was also noted that Tarık Çetin ranks high among Gençlerbirliği’s alternatives. It has been learned that the Ankara-based club is gathering information on the contract terms and transfer costs of both goalkeepers, and that official steps may be taken following the evaluations.
