'THE STADIUM WAS ON FIRE'
What did you feel during your first match at Kadıköy?

I am continuing to work hard in this regard. As a football player, I already know I can do better, and I will. I will do my best to deliver. I had come from the Austrian League, so a period of adaptation to the style of play here might be required. But I gave my absolute best for Fenerbahçe in every way. As I said, I can do even better."

'WE ARE ALL HUMAN'
Last season in the Antalyaspor match, you had a shot hit the post in the 90+7th minute. Everyone saw how devastated you were. What did you feel?

Such moments can happen in football because even great players miss goals. I will continue to give my best to turn those chances into goals. At the end of the day, we are all human. We can make mistakes."
STYLE CHANGE
At one point, you changed your hairstyle but reverted to your old style shortly after. What was the reason behind this?
"Honestly, there was no special reason for me to get that hairstyle. But I remember receiving criticism for it. Later, what I told myself was that I didn't want to play football with that hairstyle. So, I changed it back, and then I scored. We won the match."

'WE WILL DO OUR BEST'
Do you have a message for the fans?
"They support us constantly, both in away matches and at home. Yes, last season didn't end the way we wanted, but I still want to thank them for the support and love they've shown. They are always with us. And I must also say that not winning the championship was certainly tough for us as well. This season, of course, we will give our absolute best, just like every season. We have a new manager, we have a new president. Together with our fans, we will do everything we can to carry Fenerbahçe to the heights it deserves."
