Denmark's national team doctor Morten Boesen said: "I spoke to Christian this morning and he is doing well. He is with his family and in good spirits. It is expected that he will be discharged soon and can go home. We are taking good care of the players and staff, we are in constant communication with them."
The match was interrupted in the 65th minute when 34-year-old Eriksen, who plays for German team Wolfsburg, collapsed in the 65th minute of the match, clutching his chest. Denmark had a 2-1 advantage in the match in which Eriksen started in the first 11.
