"I'M OK"
The Danish player shared on his social media account that he is in good health.
Eriksen made the following statements in his post:
"I want to let everyone know that I am doing well and I am at home with my family.
As you can imagine, the shock from my cardiac device has deeply affected both me and my family. But I want to reassure everyone by saying that this is a different situation than the one we had in 2021. I feel good and my recovery process has already started.
In addition to being grateful for the support and help of all the players and medical staff on the pitch, I am also grateful beyond words to the doctors who have been taking care of me and my heart for years. Thanks to their expertise, my defibrillator did exactly what it was supposed to do: It protected me when I needed it.
