The Turkish national team, who faced Australia in their opening match, saw Baris Alper Yilmaz and Eren Elmali’s new looks take social media by storm.
Baris Alper Yilmaz appeared in front of the cameras sporting the “mohican” hairstyle made famous by Umit Davala at the 2002 World Cup.
The new look that another of our national footballers, Eren Elmali, had been keeping under wraps was also revealed ahead of this match.
Elmali, who had her hair braided, was spotted by fans like this before the match.
