Ayla Aksu reaches the quarterfinals at the WTA 125

National tennis player Ayla Aksu advanced to the quarterfinals at the WTA 125 Figueira da Foz Ladies Tournament held in Portugal.

According to a statement from the Turkish Tennis Federation, Ayla Aksu defeated Mexico’s Ana Sofia Sanchez 2-0 (6-2, 6-2) in the first round of the tournament in Figueira da Foz.

In the second round, Ayla Aksu was scheduled to face Sachia Vickery of the United States, but after her opponent withdrew from the match, Aksu advanced to the quarterfinals of a WTA 125 tournament for the first time in her career.

National tennis player Ayla Aksu will face the winner of the quarterfinal match between Belgian Jeline Vandromme and Swiss Valentina Ryser.
