The Yellow-Reds’ management quickly put Plan B into action and reached an agreement with 21-year-old center back El Chadaille Bitshiabu, who plays for Leipzig.

GALATASARAY OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED

Galatasaray reported to KAP that it has begun negotiations for the transfer of El-Chadaille Bitshiabu.

The statement read: “Official negotiations have begun with the player and his club, RasenBallsport Leipzig GmbH, regarding the temporary transfer of professional soccer player El-Chadaille Bitshiabu.”

REASON FOR DELAY REVEALED

Galatasaray’s new signing was expected to arrive in Istanbul late last night. However, it turned out there was a delay. According to information reported by GS TV, following a major accident on the Leipzig-Berlin highway, El Chadaille Bitshiabu was unable to reach Berlin Airport. As a result, the private plane in Berlin was redirected to Hannover Airport. The French player then traveled to Hannover and arrived in Istanbul early this morning.
