Anadolu Efes, which is continuing its roster planning ahead of the new season, has filled the spot left vacant by Shane Larkin, who departed the team. The blue-and-white squad has signed American point guard Mike James.

According to a statement from the blue-and-white club, a 1+1-year contract has been signed with the 35-year-old point guard-shooter, who has been playing for the French team Monaco since the start of the 2021-2022 season.
Mike James has played for the Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Pelicans, and Brooklyn Nets in the NBA, and for Baskonia, Panathinaikos, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, CSKA Moscow, and Monaco in Europe.
The veteran basketball player, who has won numerous national and international championships throughout his career, was named the EuroLeague Most Valuable Player in 2024 and was included in the “Top 25 Players in EuroLeague History” list in 2025.
