An NBA-caliber guard joins Kartal; Jaylen Nowell officially joins Beşiktaş
Beşiktaş continues to announce basketball signings one after another. The Black-and-Whites have added American guard Jaylen Nowell, who has played in over 200 NBA games, to their roster.
Beşiktaş, which will compete in the EuroLeague next season, has bolstered its roster with NBA veteran guard Jaylen Nowell. The team has signed a one-year contract with the 27-year-old American star.

In a statement released by the Black-and-Whites, the following was stated:
"As part of our transfer efforts for the new season, our team has signed a contract with American guard Jaylen Nowell.
After completing his college career at the University of Washington in the NCAA, Nowell was selected 43rd overall in the 2019 NBA Draft. Throughout his NBA career, in which he has played in over 200 games, he has played for clubs such as the Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies, the Detroit Pistons, and the New Orleans Pelicans.
We welcome the 1.93-meter-tall Nowell—who was named to the G-League All-Star Team in 2025 and played for the Gigantes de Carolina last season—to the Beşiktaş family and wish him great success in our glorious jersey."
