A farewell post from Berkan Kutlu
Berkan Kutlu, who completed one season with Konyaspor, has bid farewell to the Green-and-Whites. It was reported that Kutlu, who held an option after the first six months, did not wish to remain with Konyaspor.
Midfielder Berkan Kutlu, who signed a 1.5-year contract with Konyaspor for the 2025-2026 Süper Lig season, announced his departure from the Green-and-Whites in a statement posted on his social media account. In his farewell message posted on social media, Kutlu said: “The 2025–2026 season was a major learning experience and a rebirth for me. I started the season at Galatasaray; then, after the midseason break, I joined Konyaspor and found myself in the midst of a tough battle. We joined a team that was close to the relegation zone, but together with my teammates, we defeated the giants of the Super League to propel the team to the upper ranks and advanced all the way to the final of the Turkish Cup. Personally, I take pride in proving on the field that “Berkan Kutlu is back” and in being a part of this fight. I’m ready to pick up where I left off and continue my journey in a new project with clear goals and people who believe in me—and to write a new chapter. I would like to thank the Konyaspor community, the staff, the coaches, my teammates, our fans, and everyone who contributed to this process.”
