According to an AFP report, a lifeless body was found inside a vehicle outside a stadium in Tijuana, a border city where the Iranian National Team was training ahead of their World Cup match against New Zealand.
Authorities announced that the body was found on Friday in a parking lot across from the Estadio Caliente stadium in Tijuana.
The Iranian national team is using Tijuana as a base during the World Cup due to visa delays and travel restrictions imposed on the team’s administrative staff and coaches. The team will travel to Los Angeles next week for its first group stage match against New Zealand.
